I’m Still Young, do I need Retin A ?

Today’s trend has become botox and fillers which can not only cause a youthful appearance but help to maintain a youthful appearance if used for years on end.

But, what if you dont want needles prodded into your face? If you cant afford the procedure ? What if your just scared of needles? What if your allergic or fear a reaction to the ingredients ?

There is a solution to get as close a result as possible and maintain youthful skin and that is with Retin A and in this case the younger you start the better.

You wont have a botox frozen face or wrinkle free over night, but you can diminish fine lines and the start of wrinkles before it’s too late.

Before and after 8 months of Retin A

With regular use ( results on wrinkles become apparent after 3 months for most people) I have witnessed the shrinking of pores, less skin problems from acne, blackheads, pigmentation etc within the first month of use.

Retin A is commonly used for:

Fighting Acne.

Anti aging ( melting away lines and wrinkles.)

Shrinking pores and keeping pores clear.

Hyperpigmentation and rosacea

Milia ( keratin filled cysts)

Increasing the blood circulation and cellular turn over.

Before and after 24 weeks of Retin A

Retin-A can improve skin texture and fade dark spots and freckles because it causes skin cells to turn over more rapidly. It shrinks dilated pores and improves cell turnover within the pores so they are less likely to clog and become blackheads and whiteheads

Retin A will slow down the aging clock so it is something you must continue to use for the end result to be apparent in 10 years time. While your friends are still sticking their faces with botox or can afford it anymore you will still be effortlessly flawless and your friends dont even have to know how.

The longer you use Retin A the more you secure a dramatic result.

You can get your supply of Retin A and vitamin c face cream from MastoorA Beauty

How to Revive Bleach Fried Hair?

Yes, we have all done it, maybe more then once 😱 but how did we go about concealing our error? Or did you just lob it off into the shortest bob you could pretend to want ?

Well, this happened to me a little more than too many times due various reasons like pregnancy, post partem hair issues, dumb moments etc…

What does chemically burned hair look like? Or bleach fried hair ?

Other then the straw dry feeling there is also a gewy wet stringy condition that exists when you fry your hair.

This gewy, spaghetti type hair is the most common reason women cut their hair after bleaching it. This isn’t just because a snippy happy hair dresser says you have to cut inches off and lectures you about ” getting a professional to do your hair” but because it just doesnt feel nice anymore, seeing it snap is depressing and the embarrassment of facing your frends with frizzeled hair and their 😒 ” I told you so” expression just makes you lop it off.

Do you have to cut it off ?

This is debatable, many hairdressers tell you yes, they say you cant repair damaged hair and that you just have to bite the bullet, accept your wrong doings and snip it off.

But others like myself will say its definitely possible. How can I say this? Well, I have done it myself. From soggy spaghetti, fried hair to locks once again was as simple as looking after my hair.

How did I repair my bleach fried hair ?

The answer to this is very simple. I used this Moisture Hair Butter which is 100% natural, made from shea butter and smells amazing.

What’s so good about Shea Butter ?

Shea butter’s anti-inflammatory properties might also help reduce redness and scalp irritation by providing healing effects without clogging the pores. Additionally, as a natural product, it’s safe to use on all types of hair, even hair that’s damaged, dry, or color treated
Shea butter provides moisture to dry and damaged hair from the roots to the tips, leaving it healthy and shiny. Because it’s rich in vitamins A and E, shea butter soothes dryness, repairs breakage, and mends split ends

So next time you dont listen to those who know best and you fry your own hair, you dont have to lob it off…

Secret ingredients to Aloe Vera Gel you should know.

This is a post for general information and education of ingredients.

The following is the ingredients of this Aloe Vera gel

Ingredient: water, glycerol, butanediol, aloe vera extract, glycerol polymethacrylate, a-arbutin, yeast extract, glycosyl trehalose, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, sodium PCA, hydrogenated starch Beta-glucan, carbomer, triethanolamine, methylisothiazolinone, sodium hyaluronate, disodium EDTA, perfume, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil.
NET WT: 220g
Use: Face
Gender: Unisex
Weight: 290g

Taken from a website selling it

Butanediol is a chemical that is used to make floor stripper, paint thinner, and other solvent products. It’s illegal to sell butanediol for use as medicine1

Triethanolamine is an amine produced by reacting ethylene oxide (considered highly toxic) with ammonia (another known toxin). … The CIR determined that Triethanolamine was “safe for use in cosmetics and personal care products designed for discontinuous, brief use followed by thorough rinsing from the surface of the skin. 2

Triethanolamine is a skin and eye irritant. … 3) CHRONIC EXPOSURE: Based on data from animal studies, triethanolamine is anticipated to have low chronic toxicity under typical human exposure conditions. Key concerns are possible sensitization, irritation, and potential carcinogenicity 3

Methylisothiazolinone, MIT, or MI, is a powerful synthetic biocide and preservative within the group of isothiazolinones, which is used in numerous personal care products and a wide range of industrial applications. It is a cytotoxin that may affect different types of cells 4

Despite this evidence, the Cosmetic, Toiletries and Fragrance Association deemed Methylisothiazolinone safe for use in cosmetic formulas (Wikipedia). The EWG lists Methylisothiazolinone as a sensitizer and irritant. It is approved for use in rinse-off products by the CIR. 5

I have refrained from giving my own opinion in the above ingredients but to see so many websites promoting this Aloe Vera and knowing it contains ingrediets that have been permitted onlyin wash off products yet no where does it state to wash off this gel is appalling to me

I have seen other “Aloe Vera” gels that say “99% Aloe Vera Moisturising Gel” yet the first ingredient is Water, Glycerin, Alcohol, Propelene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 80 then Aloe vera as the 7th ingredient yet when buying it, looking at the fron you assume its 99% Aloe Vera Gel.

Like this…

This is our own fault as we dont read or dont understand what ingredients mean. The first listed ingredient is what is the largest quantity ingredient in that item down to the last listed being the least amount.

If your buying aloe vera and the first ingredient isn’t Aloe Vera then put the item down and save your money in your pocket.

If you are looking for a good aloe vera gel for skin and hair we have one in our shop

If you would like plain aloe vera gel feel free to contact us.

What aloe vera gel do you use ? Have you had any reactions to it?
